I’ve noticed a frustrating trend in the open queue for 6v6 matches. When we’re losing and already have three damage players, why does another healer feel the need to swap to damage? I mean, adding another damage player isn’t going to save the match! I’m tired of situations where damage players refuse to switch roles despite clearly underperforming. It often feels like I’m stuck healing a team that isn’t working together, which makes the whole experience frustrating!

Honestly, as a support, I’ve found that if my DPS are struggling, switching to DPS myself usually helps out. Sometimes, I can outplay them and at least bring some damage to the table. Trying to heal someone who thinks they can solo the whole enemy team just isn’t worth my time!
When I see three DPS locked in, I just give in and switch to damage too! I’m not going to stress about trying to fill a tank or support role if the rest of the team is all about damage. If they panic and switch to support later, that’s great; if not, we all go down together in a glorious 6-damage match!
If you’re rolling into a match with three DPS, it’s probably a sign that your team composition is off to start with. When things aren’t going well, a healer switching to damage might seem like a desperate gamble, but it does give you a shot at turning things around. It’s definitely better than just sitting back and waiting for a guaranteed loss if no one else wants to swap roles.
In open queue, you need to be adaptable. If you’re losing, why not shake things up and try something different? Traditional team comps don’t always apply in these chaotic matches, so switching roles can sometimes be the move you need!
My thoughts exactly! It’s like a DPS party when that happens!
