I’ve been frustrated with how often healers switch to damage in 6v6 matches. When we’re already losing and we have three damage players, adding another damage character doesn’t seem like it will help us turn things around. It’s really annoying when everyone seems to instantly lock in damage and I’m stuck playing as a healer, especially when it feels like the team composition is a lost cause. What do you guys think about this situation?

Honestly, if I load into a game and see three players rushing damage, I just throw my plans out the window. We’re all going DPS now! Usually, one might panic and switch to support or tank, then I can follow suit. If not, hey, at least we get to deal with the chaos together!
As a support, if my DPS are struggling, I often find that I can actually do better if I switch to damage. Trying to heal players who just charge in and die quickly is super frustrating and doesn’t help anyone. It’s way more effective to switch roles and try to take matters into my own hands!
When you’re in a 6v6 and have a bad team comp with three damage dealers, it’s tough. If the current setup isn’t working, swapping from healer to damage might give you a better shot at flipping the game, even if it’s a long shot. Honestly, if your DPS players really wanted to help the team, they’d have swapped roles already. Going DPS might just speed up the inevitable loss, but at least you’d have that chance to win instead of the guaranteed loss from staying in a bad setup.
In Open Queue, things get pretty unpredictable. If you’re losing, why not mix it up? Sometimes you have to break away from the standard team compositions to find a winning strategy!
My thoughts exactly! It’s like, if everyone’s going DPS, why should I try to be the lone tank? I’ll just get back to proper comp in the next match.
