I’m really frustrated about the Lumberjack nerf. While I agree that the rage spell was overpowered, I feel like they went too far by removing it completely instead of just limiting it to one rage spell. It seems like a lazy way to fix things. I had some alternative suggestions, like making the ghost easier to distract or limiting its time on the field, which could have kept some balance without completely getting rid of the feature. Why couldn’t they have just adjusted it instead?

I totally get what you’re saying. This nerf really hurt the Evo. It was overpowered before, but now it’s almost useless. They could have kept it strong while limiting the rage spell instead of taking it away completely.
I have a rework idea! What if instead of being invincible, the ghost had 70% of the Lumberjack’s health and damage? It could stay invisible for 2 seconds after attacking, and if you dropped another rage on it, it could be healed. That way, it could still have potential without being broken!
I think the nerf was necessary for balance. They wanted to implement a simple fix without dragging it out like they did with Goblinstein, where minor nerfs didn’t seem to help. Even with your suggestions, it would still be too strong in 2v2 matches.
