Hey everyone! So, I share an Xbox Game Pass subscription with my dad. I’m using his old Xbox, but my dad has a new Xbox Series X and his account isn’t linked to mine anymore. For a while, I was able to use the games and subscriptions he purchased on his new console, but last night I logged in and noticed that my Game Pass subscription is completely gone. I checked with Xbox Support and my billing history, and there’s no trace of the Game Pass. My dad confirmed that his subscription is up to date. Can anyone explain if the transfer of purchases was just a glitch or is there a way to fix this?

Just redo the game sharing process. Since your dad’s account isn’t linked right now, you need to log into your Xbox with his account, set it as Home Xbox, then log out. After that, do the same on his Xbox with your account. That should solve the issue and let you share everything again!
Remember, you don’t need to set both consoles as home to share; just yours should be enough.
I think it’s a bug. My account also hasn’t been on my kid’s Xbox for a while, but we’d been sharing until the latest system update. I had to re-add my account and set it as home again for it to resume sharing.
It sounds like your dad might have changed his ‘home’ Xbox setting. He needs to log into your console and set it as his ‘home’ Xbox again for the sharing to work properly like before. Give that a try!
Your dad’s old Xbox is no longer set as his home. He should log into it and set it back as home. If it still doesn’t work, try turning off recurring billing for a moment and then restart the Xbox; that sometimes resolves sharing issues.
Just a heads up, the sharing worked for a long time even without his account being linked directly. This issue just started, so it might be something else going on with the recent system update.
