I’ve been sharing an Xbox Game Pass subscription with my dad. We each have different Xbox consoles, and I use his old one. For some time now, his purchases, including games and subscriptions, have transferred over to my console without a hitch. However, last night, I logged in to find my Game Pass subscription missing. I checked with Xbox Support and there’s no record of it in my billing history. My dad confirmed his subscription is still active. Did my subscription vanishing happen because of a glitch, or is there something I can do to fix this?

You just need to redo the game sharing process since it seems his account isn’t linked anymore. Log into your Xbox with his account, set it as home, and then switch back to yours. It should get the sharing up and running again.
Just to clarify, setting your dad’s console as your home won’t affect your console directly. You just need one console set as home for sharing.
It sounds like your dad might have changed which Xbox is set as his ‘home’ console. He’ll need to log into your Xbox and set it back as his home for the sharing to work like before. Give that a shot!
Your current Xbox isn’t set as his home console anymore. He needs to set it back. If that doesn’t work due to bugs, try turning off recurring billing and restarting the Xbox—it sometimes helps re-establish sharing.
It could be a bug. I’ve faced similar issues where I had to re-link my account to my son’s Xbox after a system update. Just try logging in and setting it up again.
I’ll give it a try, but just a heads-up: his account hasn’t been linked for 4 years, and everything worked fine until last night.
