I’ve been experiencing a strange issue with my stash in Fallout 76 where it randomly gained almost 70lbs, pushing it way over the 1200lb limit. Just a couple of days ago, I listed some radaway for sale in my vendor, which brought my stash weight to about 5lbs below capacity. But today, after someone bought some radaway, my stash weight jumped to 1256lbs! I checked for spoiled food and didn’t find anything significant contributing to the weight. I even went through the patch notes to see if anything changed regarding item weights but couldn’t find anything. I’ve switched camps and restarted the game, but nothing seems to help. Has anyone else had this issue? I’m on PS5 with Fallout 1st active.

It’s tricky because there are hidden items that could be in your stash, like junk from previous camps. Keep an eye out for those random junk items appearing out of nowhere. It might be a new bug or just old items stacking up!
I’ve had a similar problem when I forget to empty my resource collectors. When you scrap or store them, everything inside gets dumped into your stash and can add extra weight before you even notice.
Have you set up a new camp recently? Sometimes resources and displayed items from your previous camp can get automatically added to your stash without you realizing it. That could really add up!
Display items do indeed count towards your stash space. I thought they were separate too, but it seems they take up space regardless. I’ve had similar issues! Also, be mindful that resources can fill up your stash quickly, might want to check those again!
I get confused about that too! I have a bunch of camps, and it feels like every time I move one, it triggers a stash weight increase. Like, you think you’re managing it well, but then bam! It’s full again.
Does that happen even if you move a camp and store it as a blueprint? I’m worried I’ll lose all my collected items.
