So, my PlayStation just randomly turned on in the middle of the night, did a system update, and then went back into rest mode. Is it possible that my console is haunted?

It looks like your PlayStation is just doing its thing with automatic updates. If you want to avoid surprises, you can turn off the automatic updates in your settings. Rest mode is supposed to handle updates like this, so it’s working well!

Happened to me too! My PS turned on while I was just chilling and watching Netflix. It’s just the automatic update feature kicking in. You can check your settings to turn it off if it’s not your thing.
