Hey everyone! I recently started playing Pokémon Shield and decided to do some random trades, which led me to receiving a couple of hacked Pokémon. Just to clarify, I didn’t hack them myself. I tried using these hacked Pokémon in some one-star raids in the wild area, thinking it wasn’t a big deal since they were low-level and I wasn’t cheating too much. But a couple of days later when I logged in to play, I noticed that all my hacked Pokémon were gone from my boxes, even before I reconnected to the internet! What’s strange is that I’ve got tons of hacked Pokémon in Pokémon Violet, and they never disappeared like this. Have I somehow lost them to Nintendo’s crackdown? I even tried trading a few more times and got nothing. What’s going on?

Did you maybe forget to save them properly or moved them to a different box? Usually, they’re not deleted just like that. You sure you didn’t move them to Pokémon Home by accident?
Honestly, that doesn’t seem like something that would just happen randomly. It’s weird that your hacked ones disappeared, especially if it’s never happened before. Are you sure you didn’t forget anything?
I thought so too, but seriously, they’re just gone.
Maybe the hackers who created those Pokémon coded them to disappear after a while? I’ve heard about that ‘kill code’ thing before. Could be possible.
I considered that too, but I have no clue what could’ve activated it, and I’ve reloaded the game several times since getting them.
What’s this kill code you mentioned? I’ve heard of it but don’t fully understand how it works.
They’re definitely not in Home. I saved my game in the right spot, and I know I didn’t release them.
