I’m stuck in Iron and wondering why I should even consider playing melee champions in the top lane, given that in low ELO matches, junglers often neglect ganks. For instance, my Talon in mid can’t assassinate and I’m constantly being poked by ranged champs. When playing as Darius or Renekton, I just feel like I’m not outscaling a Vayne. What’s the advantage of choosing melee champions in this situation?

You know, melee top laners usually excel in split-pushing, especially in low ELO. Champions like Trundle or Illaoi can dominate a lane pretty hard. And if you want a solid blind pick, something like Darius or Sett works out well since they can take a lot of hits and dish out damage. Just remember, the goal is to outlast your opponent and hit those towers!
