I’ve had a love-hate relationship with Lumberjack’s ghost in Clash Royale, especially after the nerf that finally balanced it. Now that it’s invincible, it seems like such a waste we can’t deploy it as a standalone troop for just 1 elixir. It feels like a missed opportunity, especially since it’s designed to be a temporary defensive mercenary. If you drop it on the bridge, it probably wouldn’t even bother hitting the tower! I’m curious why many troops can’t be used separately when they change forms or spawn in groups. Plus, it would be awesome to counter early hog rider pushes since it conveniently hasn’t received that 1% hp nerf. What do you all think?

I get where you’re coming from, but I think it would be tricky to implement. For one, if you used it with Rage, would it just stay in that area? It’s not super clear where it would ‘live’ if it only thrives in Raged zones. How would that even work?
I agree with you. It’s a messy gameplay idea that could end up being more trouble than it’s worth.
Honestly, if it were deployable, you’d probably just use it for defense, and that’s basically just a more powerful Fire Spirit. But if it can’t target towers, then what’s the point?
Exactly! A stronger Fire Spirit that doesn’t threaten an enemy tower just seems off.
Right? At that point, why not just use Fire Spirits or even other defense cards?
You wouldn’t need Rage for it to survive, but it would kinda hinge on the mechanic of living just as long as you want it to! Just a thought.
