I’ve got some thoughts on spectator mode in live matches that I think really need addressing. When you die and start watching a teammate, it’s pretty frustrating that you can’t see their crosshair. This makes it tough to grasp their decision-making process and how they’re tackling enemies. Plus, when you’re stuck watching artillery, the view is super limited. You’re only seeing one angle of the tank, which means you miss out on the artillery’s perspective on aiming and firing, making it pretty much unwatchable from their point of view. I feel like the game really pushes you out of the match instead of letting you support or learn from your teammates, especially in platoons or when helping new players. Seeing their crosshair would hugely enhance the experience and help us understand their strategies better. I’m curious—why hasn’t this feature been added? What’s holding it back?

Totally agree! It would be cool if, while you’re still alive, you could see which of your fallen teammates are spectating you. It would add some extra pressure and make you more mindful of your gameplay since you’d know others are watching you closely.
Honestly, I don’t think it needs a full overhaul. They just need to implement what’s already in the game. If you jump into a team training match and select spectator mode, you can switch between free cam and player mode, just like in replays but live! It’s awesome that you can even see equipment and ammo—it would be great if they could roll that out for regular matches too!
I feel the same way—seeing the auto-aim in action can be a bit of a letdown. Makes me wish we had more insight into how things are actually working.
That’s an awesome idea! It could motivate players to perform better, knowing their team is relying on them.
