I just got my Xbox Series X, and I’ve set the refresh rate to 120Hz. However, when I play games like Rainbow Six Siege and Fortnite, it only shows that I’m running at 60 FPS. I’ve searched through the in-game settings and my monitor settings, but I can’t find anything that would limit it to 60 FPS. I’ve even tried several YouTube tutorials, but nothing has worked out. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Also, you could try turning off V-Sync. Sometimes it can limit your frame rate to 60 FPS, so disabling it might help unlock the full 120 FPS capability.
Not every game can run at 120 FPS, even if your console is capable. Just remember that 120Hz refers to the refresh rate of your monitor, not the frame rate of the game itself. So, make sure the games you’re playing actually support 120 FPS.
Have you checked the game settings? Sometimes you need to switch to a performance mode in the game settings, especially for games like Rainbow Six Siege. Just look for a graphics setting that allows 120 FPS.
Right! I had to do that for R6 too. They usually have specific settings for optimizing frame rates.
Yeah, like Grid Legends or Dirt 5 will run in 120 FPS if they’re set up right. Just check the game settings to see if there’s a performance option.
