Hey gamers, I’m seeking some solid advice here! I have an Xbox Series X, which I’ve had for about a year, and I’m running into issues with playing Ark. I can stream the game just fine through cloud play, but when I try to download it to my console, it just won’t load, and sometimes I can barely even open it. The cloud version does have some major bugs—like random disconnects, a fuzzy screen, and lag—plus, I can’t move off ledges without getting disconnected, which is super frustrating since I’m always mining on a mountain. I don’t really get why I can run it on cloud but not download it! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Just trying to enjoy Ark without these hassles.

First off, you might want to try doing a full shutdown of your Xbox. Just hold down the power button until it’s off, wait about ten seconds, then power it back on. Once it’s booted up, try loading Ark again. If that doesn’t help, consider uninstalling the game, performing another full shutdown, and then reinstalling it to see if that fixes the issue.
It’s kind of important to note that when you play on the cloud, you’re essentially playing on a different console that’s streaming to you, which is why it behaves differently. If the shutdown and reinstall approach doesn’t work, you might also want to try a hard reset. Disconnect it from power for a minute or so and then plug it back in. It might help reset any weird settings or glitches.
