I’ve noticed that Minecraft recently updated with some cool new pig variants on PS5, but I’m still missing a lot of the other new content like firefly bushes, leaf litter, and wildflowers. I even tried activating the snapshot for the new cow and chicken variants, but nothing changed. It seems like everyone else is seeing these features out in the wild, so I’m wondering if I just didn’t look hard enough or if I’m missing something. Can someone explain why I’m not seeing these features?

Yeah, I ran into the same issue! The new items and features aren’t part of the current full release for Bedrock. You’ll need to either wait for the next major update or enable updates/experimental features in your worlds. That’s the only way you’ll be able to access them right now!
The new features you’re looking for aren’t available in the current Bedrock release yet. Unlike Java Edition, Bedrock doesn’t use snapshots, so you’ll have to wait for the next full update to see those features in-game. In the meantime, keep an eye out for any announcements regarding updates!
