I’m trying to download a game to my extended storage, but I keep getting an error saying there’s not enough room in my system storage. This only happens with this particular game; I just managed to download another game without any issues, and both games are from disc. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Make sure you have space available on both your internal and external drives. Even when you’re downloading to an external HDD, the PS4 often checks the internal storage first. It can be a bit confusing since the external should help, but the system still needs to have some wiggle room in that internal storage.
Check to see if the game you’re trying to download is too large for your hard drive. Sometimes it might just be bigger than what’s available, even if other games fit. If that’s not the issue, consider the next point.
