When I start a game, I’m unable to open my glider and get far from the bus line, which leaves me in a rough spot when I have a crown and can’t descend for 5-7 seconds. This delay results in my team landing before I do, putting us at a disadvantage. Also, after matches, I can’t see my kill count or check my quests. I’m playing on a PS4. Does anyone know what’s going on or how to fix these issues?

I had a similar issue before on my PS4, and what helped me was clearing the cache. You can do this by turning off the PlayStation, unplugging it for a couple of minutes, and then starting it up again. It’s a simple fix but sometimes it’s all you need. For the post-match stats not showing up, there might be a game update required so check for any available patches.
Your problem might be with the connection or even a glitch in the game. Try playing on a wired connection if you’re using Wi-Fi, as this can sometimes reduce these delays. Also, close all other apps running in the background on your PS4 to improve performance. If none of these work, consider reporting the issue directly to Epic Games with all the details you provided. It’s possible they already know about it and are working on a fix.
It sounds like a bug on the PS4 version that might need to be addressed by updating your game or adjusting a few settings. First, ensure your game is fully updated. Sometimes a quick reinstall can resolve these kinds of issues. For the glider issue, make sure your controller isn’t having connectivity problems, as that could delay inputs. Lastly, regarding not seeing your stats post-game, that’s possibly a server or network lag. Checking your internet connection might help.
