I’ve been trying to get rid of my trophies in Clash of Clans, specifically dealing with a 2h 28m shield. Every time I attempt to remove it, I also try to take off the guard. However, as soon as I log out and switch to another account, I return only to find that I still have the shield with a remaining time of 2h 27m. Does anyone know what’s going on?

This can be a pain! The game sometimes skips recording actions. A tip that worked for me is to remove your shield and guard, then do a builder base attack right after. It helps to lock in your changes with the server. It’s just one of those quirks of the game.
Yeah, this seems to happen quite a bit. The best way I’ve found to ensure your account changes stick is to do a quick multiplayer match. Just search, see an enemy base, and then head back to your home base. Every other method hasn’t worked as well for me, but that one has a 100% success rate!
Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, I can’t do a multiplayer search right now because I’m trying to drop trophies and avoid the Legends Tournament.
I’ve had a similar issue! The fifth try was finally successful for me. I removed the shield, logged out without switching accounts, then removed the guard and logged out again. When I logged back in, it stuck. It’s frustrating because sometimes the game just loses track of what you did, like upgrades failing to save too. Just hang in there!
I guess it’s just a lot to expect from Supercell at times. It’s just frustrating when basic stuff doesn’t work, right?
