I just finished a Reggigigas raid and encountered a bizarre issue. When I tried to capture it, it was nonstop attacking, making it impossible for the red circle to appear for a catch. Is there any strategy to deal with this, or am I just out of luck?

You really need to time your throws just right. Try throwing the Poké Ball right in the middle of Reggigigas’s attack animation. This way, the ball should arrive at the circle just as it comes up. It takes practice to nail that timing, but once you do, you’ll catch it more consistently!
I had the exact same issue! It felt like I was throwing at nothing. Since then, I’ve done three more raids and still haven’t caught one. Makes you wonder if this is a glitch or just terribly bad luck!
It happened to me too! After multiple raids, I’ve only been able to catch one. Those constant attacks without any breaks are killer, especially if you don’t have buddy assist to help.
