Hey everyone! I’ve been messing around with the keybindings in Overwatch, and I noticed that while you can usually have duplicate keybinds for different functions, ‘Toggle Camera Shoulder’ and ‘Perk Select’ can’t both be bound to the same key, even though there’s no perk functionality in Stadium. Is there any reason for this? Has anyone found any hidden uses for ‘Perk Select’ in Stadium? I think it would be perfect to use the default Alt key for switching shoulders since it’s just sitting unused!

That’s a solid point! The up button also serves as a spray when there’s no perk around, but wouldn’t it be awesome if we could set up context-sensitive keybinds ourselves? Like, if there’s nothing to interact with, it’d swap shoulders instead. I switched my up button to the shoulder swap, which is essential, but that means no sprays in any mode. I thought perks were still working for me, but I’ll double-check tonight! Plus, how cool would it be to quick select perks on the controller? I have an Elite controller, but it’s still a hassle.
This is a real hassle for console players! I’m totally out of button options for shoulder swapping. Right now, I’ve had to bind it to the interact button, but it looks like they need to consider making that an option for us. Until they release Sym with her teleporter, I’m stuck with this workaround.
Just don’t forget to switch it back before you dive into any other games or modes. I can’t understand why the controls for Stadium aren’t separate from the general settings!
That’s crazy! I’ve noticed my up button doesn’t spray anymore since they added perks. I tried to rebind it, but it wouldn’t let me because of the perk binding.
