I’m curious to hear your thoughts on why some people might choose not to buy the Switch 2 as soon as it’s released. Many folks are eager to grab one right away because of worries about future tariffs or just because they want the latest tech. But for those of you holding back, what are your reasons? Are there specific games you’re waiting for, or maybe you have budget concerns? Let’s discuss!

Honestly, I’m not in a rush because there aren’t any games that I absolutely need to play right away. I’ll probably wait until there are some titles out that I really want. Plus, I have a backlog of games to get through anyway.
I hear you! Financial reasons are holding me back too, but I’ll definitely keep my eye on it this summer.
I think launch days are usually a bit chaotic. I’d rather wait and see some reviews first. Christmas sounds like a good time to jump in when things have settled down.
I’ve learned my lesson from previous launches. There’s usually a cooler limited edition that comes out later, so I’m saving my money for something special. Plus, it usually takes a while for all the bugs to be fixed as well.
I won’t be getting it at launch mainly because I need to focus on my finances right now. With everything going on, it’s just not practical for me to spend that kind of money right away. Besides, I’m waiting to see which games get ported over from the old Switch and how backward compatibility turns out.
Exactly! It just makes more sense to wait for all the kinks to be worked out before diving in.
It’s too expensive for me right now. I want to see if I can score a used one for less later on. I just don’t see the value in jumping in on launch if there are no games that excite me.
Totally feel you on that! It’s best to wait and get a good deal instead of struggling to find one at launch.
Same here! I’ve got plenty on my plate and there’s no need to spend money on something I can’t fully enjoy yet.
