I’m curious why Nintendo hasn’t introduced cybernetic Pokémon in the games. I think it would be cool to have darker or ‘evil’ versions of Pokémon enhanced by Team Rocket with cybernetic features. These Pokémon could have access to moves outside their usual types, like a Tentacruel using electric moves or a Pikachu learning steel-type attacks. It seems like that could add an interesting twist to the stories, especially since many plotlines involve evil organizations trying to control Pokémon.
What are your thoughts on this idea? It could lead to some unique battles and matchups!

I totally get where you’re coming from, but I think some fans aren’t on board with the idea of forcing them into a cybernetic theme, preferring them as natural creatures instead.
You know, Genesect already represents that concept to some degree. Plus, there are other cyber Pokémon like Porygon and Rotom from earlier generations. It’s not entirely out of the question!
Sounds a lot like the future paradox Pokémon from Scarlet & Violet! They’ve already tapped into that vibe, so maybe they’re playing it safe with the current designs.
Oh man, I totally forgot about those! Guess I need to catch up on my Pokémon lore.
Exactly! For a lot of us, the bond with Pokémon is what matters. We want to connect with them as they are, not as machines.
