I’ve been thinking about the lore in Minecraft and how it relates to the behavior of Piglins and Zombified Piglins. It seems like Piglins are really territorial and hostile towards outsiders, especially if you’re not wearing gold armor. On the other hand, Zombified Piglins don’t seem to care about players unless they’re attacked. Is there any lore that explains why Zombified Piglins are neutral while their regular counterparts are aggressive?

It’s like they lose their judgement when they turn into Zombified Piglins. Regular Piglins think you’re an outsider, but once they’re zombified, they just don’t care anymore and will only react if you attack them first. So, in a way, they lose that hostility!
Piglins are territorial and they defend their zones. If you’re wearing gold armor, they think you’re part of the team, which is why you’re safe around them. But Zombified Piglins? They’re kind of brainless and just swing their weapons if you attack them. They’ve lost that ability to think about who’s a friend or foe.
Yeah, Zombified Piglins don’t have the same animosity toward players that Piglins do. Instead of being territorial, they seem more focused on survival. As long as you leave them alone, they won’t bother you.
Makes sense! They probably don’t even register you unless you pose a threat.
So you’re saying Zombified Piglins are like the ultimate chill mode? That’s kind of funny!
