I’ve been experiencing some super frustrating games lately in Apex Legends, and I just don’t get my random teammates. Just the other day, I queued up and my team hot dropped in a spot surrounded by three other squads. One teammate reconnected but was still AFK! While I tried to loot and even sensed the chaos, one of them pushed an enemy squad and got knocked. Then, just when I was about to craft, someone berated me, saying, ‘Don’t res us, dumbf##k, we are playing Valorant now.’ That left me confused on two fronts: A) If you wanted to play a different game, why even queue and hot drop? That feels like sabotage, especially if you’re not going to leave the match. B) Why call me names? It seems like they were the ones sabotaging the team and then flipping it around on me!

Honestly, I’m starting to enjoy getting the toxic players reported more than trying to carry them. If you’ve got a bunch of Masters badges like me, it really isn’t worth the hassle when solo queuing.
Trust me, you’re not alone in this struggle. I feel like when I finally get a good squad, I have to go all out to get any kills because I know I’ll be stuck with terrible teammates for the next few games afterwards. It’s a rough grind sometimes!
Right? It’s like they hand out diamond ranks for fun and you end up with glue eaters as teammates. Makes you question if it’s even worth trying since the ranked system is a mess.
This is just how it is in solo queue; it’s been like this for years. If you want a better experience, try to play with friends. Complaining here isn’t going to change your matchmaking luck!
Fair point, but it feels like this problem keeps happening more often lately. It’s tough to find good teammates!
I get that! I’ve got a Platinum badge from last season and my goal is to make it to Diamond too, but with these players, it’s just not worth the stress.
