I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue where games I don’t own, specifically Minecraft and Roblox, keep appearing on my recently played list on my PS5. Over the past year, random times have seen these games show up, and it’s concerning because I’ve changed my account password and enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) multiple times. Even switching to an Authenticator app hasn’t solved the problem. No one else plays games at my house, and the old consoles are unplugged, except for one I sold years ago after wiping it completely. I really want to understand how this is happening and what I can do to fix it to prevent any unauthorized activity.

I get that this is annoying! Make sure no one else has access to your account. Even kids sneaking in some gaming time without you knowing could cause this. Double-check with anyone who visits just in case. But it sounds like you’ve done a lot to secure your account already!
Have you checked if your friends are sharing their screen while playing those games? Sometimes if you watch a game you don’t own, it can show up as locked on your home screen. That might explain why they appear in your recently played list. It’s a bit odd that it shows playtime though; that part is puzzling!
I haven’t watched anyone playing those games specifically, so that might not be it.
It’s strange for games to show up without being played by someone in your household. Have you considered the possibility of someone else using your account if you shared it in the past? I know you wiped your console, but sometimes these digital games can get tied to accounts in unexpected ways. Just keep an eye on your account activities!
Yeah, I live alone with my mom, and she wouldn’t be gaming! Been pretty careful about it.
