I’ve recently noticed a growing number of ants in my room, initially just a few here and there. I didn’t think much of it at first, but then I saw them increasingly gathering around my PS5. One morning, I woke up to find my PS5 completely surrounded by ants, and when I lifted it up, there were literally thousands crawling out! I’ve had this console for three years and never experienced anything like this before. What could be attracting them to it?

Sounds like the inside of your PS5 has become a cozy little home for those ants! They probably like the warmth and darkness it provides. If you’re comfortable with it, try opening it up and blowing some air inside to clean it out a bit.
Heat and darkness are definitely factors for ants. Make sure there’s no food or waste lying around your room, as that could be attracting them too. Try using Terro liquid ant baits; they work wonders for getting rid of these uninvited guests!
