I’ve been playing Rocket League again after taking a week off, and I’m currently at Diamond 3 in 2s. Lately, I’ve noticed I’m being intentionally targeted for demos and bumps during my matches, which is really frustrating. I try to stay calm and not provoke anyone, so I’m not sure why this is happening. It feels like I’m being chased the whole game, making it hard to really enjoy playing. Am I missing something here?

Honestly, this is part of the game. Demos can be annoying, but if you can anticipate them, it gets easier to avoid. Start focusing on your positioning and keep an eye on your opponents’ movements. Sometimes you can even use them to your advantage by leaving your goal open for a quick score while they’re distracted!
If you’re feeling frustrated, try mixing up your playstyle. Maybe go for demos yourself! But mostly, practice dodging—like, tap jump a bit earlier to avoid those collisions. It’s all a part of the fun!
Don’t sweat it too much. It’s just how some players choose to play. Just keep your cool, and remember, you’re playing a game! Plus, if they keep focusing on you, they’re leaving their teammates exposed.
Right? I’ve had matches where opponents get so fixated on me that they leave the goal wide open. Just gotta read the plays better!
