Hey everyone! I’m experiencing some frustrating low and inconsistent FPS while playing Marvel Rivals. On Fedora, it hovers around 60-80 FPS during matches, while on Windows 11, I get 80-100 FPS. I also noticed that Baldur’s Gate 3 runs about 8 FPS lower on Linux, which isn’t as drastic, but the 20 FPS difference in Rivals is really noticeable. I’d love to know if anyone else is facing the same issue with this game. Additionally, games look quite blurry on my 1440p monitor with 125% scaling. I’ve heard there might be issues with Nvidia and Vulkan as well. For context, I’m using an Asus G15 with an RTX 3070 on Fedora 41 with GNOME and have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed.

Are you using the proprietary NVIDIA drivers? Make sure you have those installed and keep secure boot disabled to improve performance.
Rivals runs on DX12, which generally has poorer performance on Linux compared to Windows for Nvidia users. Have you noticed a difference in settings between the two operating systems?
