I just had a wild encounter with this NPC in red who was all like, ‘I’ll whip you!’ and I was just taken aback. It got me thinking about the craziest NPCs we’ve seen throughout the series. Sure, there are infamous ones like the swimmer hiding Poké Balls in her bikini or the creepy old man peering into the Celadon gym, but I’m curious if there are any even crazier characters out there. I’d say the hex maniacs take the cake for unhinged NPCs! They have such eerie vibes and some pretty strange dialogue that definitely raises eyebrows.
