I’m on the hunt for a wireless controller with hall effect sticks to use on my PC. I’ve narrowed it down to three options: the GameSir Supernova, FlyDigi Vader 4 Pro, and 8bitDo Ultimate Pro. I’m really curious about which one others prefer, and if anyone has experience with these controllers, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Also, if you have any other suggestions for different brands or models, I’m open to hearing them!

If you’re considering GameSir, just a heads-up: I have the Kaleid wired controller and while it works fine, I prefer the Xbox controller. The GameSir software is really clunky, and I had to fix the force feedback motors right out of the box. The Vader 4 Pro sounds promising though, especially with those features.
I’ve used GameSir’s wired controller and I really like it! It works well on both Xbox and PC for me, although I did have a little mishap when I dropped it. Overall, it’s solid!
For me, it’s the 8bitDo Ultimate every time! However, be mindful of durability—I had an issue with the LB button getting worn out after just a week. It’s a bummer because now I struggle with selecting weapons in GTA. But hey, it’s not worth returning for just 20 bucks, right?
The wireless Xbox controller has been great for me. Just keep in mind that the wired version isn’t as durable—the wire can detach easily. Can’t go wrong with the wireless option!
If you want something impressive, the Vader 4 Pro is awesome! The adjustable stick tension is a game changer, and the buttons and triggers feel great—definitely the best controller I’ve ever owned. Beats the Switch Pro controller by a mile!
I think the Vader and Nova are closer to the standard Xbox controller vibe, while the 8bitDo feels more like a Switch Pro controller. I ended up choosing the Gulikit KK3, and it’s fantastic! Highly recommend it if you prefer the Xbox feel.
I was a huge fan of the Xbox 360 wireless controller—it was fantastic! Unfortunately, it broke. Now I use the DualShock 4 with DS4Windows, and it works great for my gaming needs.
That’s rough! I hope it was just a one-off issue. Overall, are you still happy with the performance?
