I’m planning to create a new character on a US realm and I currently only have characters on a smaller server that doesn’t have many players. I’m considering either Stormrage or Tichondrius for my Horde character. Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated!

Beware of the trade chat on Stormrage—it can get pretty spammy! I have characters on both Tichondrius and Area 52, and honestly, the trade chat on those is less entertaining. I’d say Tichondrius wins in that aspect, too.
If you’re into roleplay, you might want to check out Wyrmrest Accord for Horde. It’s a fantastic server with a solid community. But if you prefer more action, Tichondrius has a larger Horde population and is generally more active than Stormrage. Just a thought!
Stormrage leans heavily towards Alliance with only about 2,000 Horde players, while Tichondrius has a thriving Horde community with over 7,000 players. If you’re looking for more Horde-centric gameplay, Tichondrius is your best bet!
Is the info from wowprogress still accurate? I wonder how they keep track of those numbers.
If you want to avoid frustrating pricing and trade chat, you might want to stick with the bigger realms like Tichondrius or Area 52. The economy is much healthier on these servers, meaning better prices for crafted items. It really pays off to be on a more populated realm for gameplay and trading!
Yeah, Wyrmrest Accord is definitely a gem for RP lovers!
