I’m on the lookout for games that offer a single-player experience but with the feel of an MMO. Something where you can grind, level up, and see your numbers grow. I’ve checked out The Black Grimoire: Cursebreaker as a single-player alternative to Runescape. I’ve also played titles like Warframe, Black Desert Online, and Wayfinder. Any recommendations for other grind-heavy games with lots of progression?

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning could be right up your alley. It was initially intended to be an MMO, but ended up being a single-player game with those familiar MMO elements. It offers engaging combat, quests, and an open-ended skill respec system, letting you experiment freely with your build.
Genshin Impact might be worth a look. Beneath its somewhat cartoony visuals and less-than-stellar dialogue lies a very robust solo gaming experience packed with content.
You might want to check out Final Fantasy XII. It’s got a lot of similarities to FFXI, especially with the rare spawn hunting aspects. It’s got that signature grindy gameplay you might love.
Consider trying X4, which has a vibe very similar to Eve Online. It’s not an MMO, but it captures that space exploration and trading experience you might be looking for.
