Which Server Should I Choose: NA or EU for Late Night Gaming?

-

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about diving into this game and I generally play super late at night, usually after 4am UK time (which is 11pm EST and 8pm PST). I figure that since I’ll be gaming at such late hours, I might find more players on the North America server since it’s prime time for them. However, I’m also curious if there are enough night owls or early risers in Europe who might be playing at that time, or if it would really matter at all. By the way, I’ll be playing on PC. Any thoughts or insights? Thanks!

Honestly, the EU PC economy is quite solid for this game. I’ve heard most US players stick to consoles, which could make a difference if you want a vibrant trading scene.

By ‘economy’, are you referring to player trading and stuff? Is there really a lack of PC players in the NA server?

You’ll find some night owls in Europe, but they’re definitely fewer compared to during the day. If you’re planning to play long-term and ping isn’t an issue, I’d suggest going for the NA server. Just remember, you can’t transfer your stuff between servers, so pick wisely!

Thanks, that makes sense! I’ve read about the transfer issue, so I definitely need to decide early on. I might give the NA server a shot and see how my ping is!

I play on the NA server too and stay up late, but I usually crash around midnight Pacific. There’s a good crowd until then, but it can feel a bit “dead” after that. At least for Rimmen, it’s usually bustling for hours before that. Other areas might vary though, just something to keep in mind!

So, it sounds like the EU server may not have much action around 4am for sure? But at least the West Coast in NA would be awake during that time.

The EU server is based around Germany, I believe. So playing at 4am German time is actually similar to 10pm EST. You shouldn’t face many population issues when gaming at those late hours on the NA servers either.
