Which Pokémon Game Should I Pick for Switch 2: Legends Arceus or Scarlet/Violet?

Hey everyone! I haven’t played Pokémon since Black and White, but now I’ve got my hands on a Switch 2. I’ve heard that Legends Arceus is amazing, although it had some technical issues. On the other hand, I’ve read that Scarlet and Violet run well on the Switch 2 now. Given that, I’m wondering if Legends Arceus still offers the best experience, or if the technical fixes make Scarlet and Violet a better choice overall. What do you all suggest?

Honestly, Scarlet and Violet are in my top five Pokémon games! Arceus just didn’t click with me, but I know many love it. After the updates, there’s still some rough spots, but I think SV with the DLC has a strong case against Arceus. Rankings can get tough since they’re so different!

If you’re looking for a solid adventure, give Scarlet and Violet a shot. They still have some issues, but the open-world experience and overall gameplay are definitely enjoyable. Just keep in mind, Arceus is a whole different style that might not be for everyone.
