I’ve been thinking about how Pokémon come in all shapes and sizes, and while many feel like great friends, not every Pokémon is innocent. Ghost and Psychic types get a bad rap, but are Dark types really the villains? I want to know your thoughts on this: Who do you think is the most ‘good’ Pokémon and which one is the most ‘evil’? Let’s stick with all Pokémon from any official source, and please, no chainsaw canons! Keep it friendly!

Not sure where the whole ‘evil’ label for Giratina comes from, but doesn’t it get blamed due to its associations with some dark plots? They say it’s because of its actions in Legends Arceus where it worked with Volo against you.
I’m not sure who the most good Pokémon is, but did you know that in Japan, Dark types are literally called the ‘evil type’? Kinda wild, right?
In Legends Arceus, many Pokémon do show a pretty aggressive side, but labeling them as evil seems unfair. Giratina’s actions with Volo definitely make it seem like a jerk, though! I think it all comes down to how humans perceive Pokémon behavior.
Pecharunt is often seen as a top villain because it’s actually malicious towards Pokémon and humans. It controls a group of Pokémon to do its bidding and has tormented others in the past. But, just like with many ‘evil’ Pokémon, it might just be a misunderstood brat who’s acting out. The creators usually leave room for interpretation!
I think the Happiny line definitely represents the most good since they’re all about helping others. On the flip side, it really varies by region regarding the most evil—like Guzzlord in Alola can be pretty destructive! But if you ask me, Giratina feels like the big bad in the lore, kinda like the dark counterpart to Arceus.
Right? It’s interesting how the games often portray these ‘evil’ Pokémon with a softer backstory.
