Hey folks! I’m transitioning to PC gaming from my PS5, and while the graphics are incredible, I’ve been dealing with some annoying stutter issues during gameplay. I recently learned about shader compilation stutter, which seems to affect a lot of games, particularly those using UE5 and DX12. Even with top-tier hardware like a 5090, this problem can still pop up.
So, I’m looking for advice: does anyone know of any lists or specific games notorious for having these shader compilation issues? If there’s no concrete list, could you just toss out a few game titles that I should probably skip? I’m thinking it might be better to stick with consoles for those particular titles instead.

Honestly, this issue isn’t as widespread as it seems. Many times, there are fixes available that can greatly reduce or even eliminate stuttering. So I wouldn’t let it deter you completely from trying out new games!
What makes you think that? Just because you haven’t noticed it doesn’t mean it isn’t a big deal for others. Coming from a PS5, where stuttering is pretty much non-existent, I find it frustrating to deal with it on PC. I just want to know which games to avoid so I don’t waste my money!
