Hey everyone! I used to be a huge fan of the Assassin’s Creed series, especially up until Black Flag. I’ve tried playing some of the newer titles, like Unity and Odyssey, but they just didn’t click for me and I ended up quitting after a few hours. I’m thinking of giving them another shot and want your advice on which game might suit a fan of the older games. Any recommendations?

Definitely go with Origins! It brings a great story and character in Bayek, and I think you’ll enjoy it just as much as Ezio’s tales. Also, Shadows is surprisingly good too — definitely worth a look!
I loved Odyssey because it was my first AC game and it got me hooked! Since then, I’ve played through the earlier ones, rewatching all the classic storylines. Just thought I’d throw that out there if you’re interested in starting fresh with something exciting.
Odyssey is really fun, but I think Origins might be a better fit if you prefer the charm of older titles!
If you’re looking for something that feels a bit more traditional and less of an RPG experience, I suggest you check out Mirage. It’s on a smaller scale and might be more to your liking if the big RPG elements didn’t resonate with you.
I totally agree! Shadows has some really interesting gameplay mechanics and an engaging storyline.
