I’m trying to decide between using the normal Magistar or the Sancti Magistar for my incarnon build. I’ve noticed that the Sancti Magistar has higher attributes, plus it offers healing and status damage resistance. However, I’ve heard the normal Magistar might have its advantages too. What do you guys think?

If you’re considering a riven, the normal Magistar is definitely the way to go. Its incarnon evolutions give a significant boost, like a critical damage multiplier that the Sancti doesn’t match. The Sancti shines with its higher base status chance and lifesteal, but if you’re after pure damage output, lean towards the base Magistar.
The normal Magistar actually hits harder because its incarnon evolutions provide better base damage. Plus, its riven disposition is more favorable, meaning it can benefit more from custom mods. The Sancti does have some nice utility, like healing and status resistance, but if you’re aiming for damage, the normal version has a solid edge – about 25% more damage in my build.
Many players prefer the normal Magistar because it interacts better with weapon mods and can take advantage of your build. For casual play or if you just want utility, the Sancti might serve you well. But if you’re set on maximizing damage, the normal one is typically favored.
