I’m currently using a Dell G15 with 16GB of RAM, 1.5TB storage, and an Nvidia 1070ti. I’m looking to upgrade to a laptop featuring 32GB of RAM, 1-2TB of memory, and either a 4060 or 4080 GPU. I’m considering the Alienware m16/x16 and the Lenovo Legion 5i. I play games like Madden, CK3, BG3, and Hogwarts Legacy (which I can’t run anymore), along with using AutoCAD Civil 3D and various D&D VTTs. My main priorities are versatility and longevity, with a budget up to $2500 but ideally under $2000. Any recommendations?

Both Alienware and Legion models are solid picks. If we’re talking mid-range, the RTX 4070 isn’t a bad choice. Depending on how much each laptop costs, you might be able to save a bit by getting the model with 16GB RAM and then just upgrading it yourself later; Amazon has some good deals on RAM. Also, keep an eye out for the new 5070ti coming out soon! It might be a good option if you can wait a bit.
Totally forgot about the 5070ti release! I’m flexible with RAM too, so I might just get a 1TB SSD now and then add another later on. I’m in no rush since my current setup is still doing okay.
