Hey everyone! I’m looking to upgrade my GPU and I’m torn between the RTX 3080 and the RTX 4070. I mainly play competitive games like CS2 at 1080p, and I’ve noticed that in my country, the 4070 is about 50% more expensive than the 3080. Can anyone share their thoughts on which one would be a better fit for my gaming needs?

Honestly, both cards perform similarly, especially for 1080p gaming. While the 4070 has some perks like 2GB more VRAM and DLSS frame generation, these advantages aren’t game-changers for competitive titles where you might be CPU-limited. However, the 4070 does have better power efficiency, which might be a factor to consider for you.
