I need some advice on choosing a gaming laptop. I’ve narrowed it down to three options: the LOQ 12th Gen 12450HX with a 512TB SSD, 16GB RAM, and RTX 3050 6GB; the LOQ 13th Gen 13450HX with the same specs; and the Acer Nitro V with an AMD Ryzen 7-7735HS and the same specifications. I’m leaning towards the LOQ 13th Gen, but I’m worried about potential battery drain and motherboard problems. I’m also unsure about the display and build quality of the Acer. Good battery backup is a must for me. What do you all think is the best choice?

Honestly, if you’re focused on coding and casual gaming, the LOQ series might serve you better overall. They have solid build quality, and the performance is well-suited for programming tasks too. Just be cautious about reports on battery issues with the 13th Gen—definitely do a bit more digging into user reviews for those.
If battery life is your main concern, the Acer could be your best bet since it generally offers better battery performance. However, keep in mind that its display only covers 62% of the sRGB range, while the LOQ series gives you 100% by default, which is great for gaming and media. It really depends on whether you prioritize battery over display quality.
How much is your budget? That could help narrow things down.
I’ve got a budget of around 80k INR.
