I’m curious about which games you think could have been even better with a weather cycle or a day/night cycle. For instance, I feel like Red Dead Redemption 2 had a decent weather system, but the thunderstorms and rain felt way too short. I would have loved to sit on a mountain and watch the storms roll in for hours! Also, up in the mountains, it seemed like it only snowed and blizzarded during missions. What do you all think?

RDR2 on PC is amazing with mods! You can force any weather in different areas, which really enhances the atmosphere. That game’s natural beauty shines even more when you get to unleash full weather effects!
What about Skyrim? It would be awesome if it had proper seasons. There’s an intention behind the weather as it creates a sense of danger. But imagine exploring a snowy region when it’s actually winter!
I’d say Tropico could definitely use a weather cycle. It would add an extra layer of strategy when managing your island!
True, it does make exploring feel more intense. Plus, being under-leveled and getting wrecked by a dragon priest really makes you rethink your strategy!
