I’m heading off on holiday and I’m trying to figure out which game to load onto my Steam Deck. I’ve got Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (KCD2), Spiderman 2, and God of War Ragnarok (GOW) on my gaming PC already and I plan to play them all. I’ll have a controller and dock for connecting to a larger screen. Which one runs and plays the best on the Deck?

KCD2 definitely seems to come out on top. It’s not really graphic-heavy like the other two, which makes it perform better on the Deck. I’ve heard GOW runs okay, hitting around 50 fps with some minor hiccups, but KCD2 seems to have a smoother overall experience.
From my experience, KCD2 on low settings with FSR quality mode stays around 45 FPS. It’s stable in the early game, but I’m a bit worried about how it’ll fare during intense battle scenes later on. Still, it’s a fantastic game!
Honestly, I’d recommend KCD2 for the Steam Deck. It runs pretty smooth compared to the other two. Spider-Man 2 is cool, but KCD2 feels like a bigger experience overall. Plus, GOW didn’t meet expectations with its launch, especially compared to the original. Just my two cents!
