I’m new to World of Warcraft and I want to play as a Death Knight. Since I usually play solo, I’m trying to figure out which specialization would be the best fit for my playstyle. Should I go Unholy or Frost?

I just leveled a Frost DK from 50 to 80 and it’s the easiest thing I’ve done! With Deathstrike, you’re really hard to kill unless you bite off more than you can chew. Plus, with movement abilities, you can kite effectively and heal up during fights. It’s like no downtime at all!
Honestly, I’d steer clear of Unholy for soloing. It feels slow without the cooldowns, especially if you’re not overgearing your enemies. Stick with Frost or even Blood for faster kills.
Both Unholy and Frost Death Knights can be good for solo play, but it really depends on what you enjoy. Frost is known for being simple and tanky, plus it’s just a lot of fun! I’d recommend going with Frost if you’re just getting started.
Frost definitely seems to be the way to go for solo players. It has a more streamlined gameplay style and less ramp-up time compared to Unholy. Plus, you’ve got the flexibility of using either a two-handed weapon or dual wielding, which keeps things fresh even at max level.
I agree! And if you’re really into solo content, you might want to consider Blood DK too. They’re super strong in solo scenarios!
Yeah, Frost feels really intuitive! Unholy can be slower since it requires setup time for damage, which might not be ideal for soloing.
