I’ve maxed out my staggering shot for a high 90% stun rate. Currently, I have 5 Might, 15 Dexterity, and 14 Perception. I’m trying to decide which arquebus to invest in between ‘Heavenstrike’ and ‘One Last Trick’.
**Heavenstrike** delivers powerful attacks that inflict significant frost accumulation on nearby foes with stats of 406 damage and 400 stun, capable of one-shotting most enemies including regular elites.
**One Last Trick** allows bullets to ricochet, hitting up to two additional enemies and has stats of 369 damage and 364 stun. It fires faster and can potentially stun multiple enemies per shot, especially effective in crowd situations.
I find that ‘Heavenstrike’ is perfect for stealthy openings against bosses, while ‘One Last Trick’ works great for quickly taking down groups of enemies. I’m just starting in Galwain’s Tusks and would love to hear everyone’s opinions!

Are you sure you need Perception with that ranged slow-mo? Might be better to dump those points into Might instead.
I’d suggest upgrading both eventually. Just pace yourself on the attributes—you don’t need all 15 in any single stat. And make sure to complete Radut and Amalia’s quest for some great loot!
I stuck with ‘One Last Trick’ all the way through. It has its quirks, but it never let me down in terms of flexibility and speed.
For me, ‘One Last Trick’ is the clear winner. The ability to hit multiple targets and reload speed is unbeatable right before the garden stages.
‘One Last Trick’ really shines if you’re using it as your main. ‘Heavenstrike’ is best for finishing off stunned enemies after switching from dual pistols.
Honestly, the reload animation on ‘One Last Trick’ got kind of old, so I just went with ‘Heavenstrike’ for consistent performance.
Just a heads up, you get ‘Heavenstrike’ so late in the game, it’s tough to fully enjoy it before the end!
For my money, ‘Heavenstrike’ is a tier above ‘One Last Trick’—the star-forged weapons outshine other uniques at similar rarities.
If you plan on using the arquebus mainly against groups, definitely go for ‘One Last Trick’. For sniping and boss battles, ‘Heavenstrike’ is unbeatable for single-target damage.
It’s a tough call! Towards the end of the game, my go-to was ‘Heavenstrike’ paired with a dual-wand setup. I loved how overpowered it felt. ‘One Last Trick’ is fun with its ricochet, but nothing beats the raw damage of ‘Heavenstrike’.
‘One Last Trick’ really shines if you’re stacking reload speed with the ricochet benefit. It’s a blast to use, but if you want the sheer damage output, ‘Heavenstrike’ takes the cake without a doubt.
I thought ‘One Last Trick’ was a blast until I got my hands on ‘Heavenstrike’. The frost damage is a game changer!
I loved using ‘One Last Trick’ in the early game but switched to ‘Heavenstrike’ later. The aesthetic of it is just too cool with all the frost effects!
‘Heavenstrike’ worked wonders for me at the end-game, especially with occasional cold grenades to freeze enemies. I think you might be hurting yourself by keeping Might so low—it’s crucial for damage!
Let’s not forget with ‘One Last Trick’, adding mulled musketeers really speeds up reload. That combo is chef’s kiss!
I just did a pure ranger build and maxing out reload speed was insane! ‘One Last Trick’ lets me switch to dual pistols for crazy damage. The flare you get from the fast shooting is something else!
