I’ve already played the classic Legend of Zelda games including the original Zelda, Zelda II, A Link to the Past, and all of the Four Swords titles. I’m looking for some suggestions on what 2D Zelda game to dive into next. Any recommendations?

You should definitely check out Minish Cap! It has a ton of charm and some great gameplay mechanics that really highlight the 2D Zelda experience.
A Link Between Worlds is peak Zelda for me. It’s not just one of the best 2D games; I think it really stands out among all the Zelda titles! Plus, the mechanics are fresh and fun.
If you haven’t played Link’s Awakening DX, that’s a must! The story is whimsical and the art style is really unique. It’s a classic for a reason.
You can’t go wrong with A Link Between Worlds or Minish Cap. Echoes of Wisdom is also worth trying if you’re open to newer titles!
Have you considered the Oracle games? They’re quite fun! Or you could look into A Link Between Worlds again, as a lot of people seem to love it.
