I’m planning for a long flight in about two months and I want to grab a 1TB OLED Steam Deck. However, it’s currently sold out on Steam. Are there any other reliable places to purchase it from?

You can check Amazon or eBay, but expect inflated prices. The good news is that the warranty still applies if you get it through those sites, so customer support is available if you run into issues.
You might want to hold off for the Steam Summer Sale starting on June 26. They usually restock and even offer discounts on refurbished models. You’ve got time, so don’t rush into buying one yet!
Good point about the summer sale! I won’t rush into it since I have some time to explore options.
I found some people mentioning they saw them at Costco—though I think that was in Mexico. Might be worth checking out your local stores too!
I asked my Costco if they had it, but no luck this time.
The only place you can be sure to get a legit Steam Deck is from the Steam storefront. Everything else might be refurbished or secondhand, so just be careful!
Make sure to mention your location! There are some places that might sell them, like GameStop in the U.S. But be cautious, as I’ve seen refurbished models there that had issues. I’d recommend sticking to Steam for refurb models since they come with a warranty.
Thanks for the heads-up! I’m in the U.S. and ideally want to buy directly from Steam, but if they’re still sold out, I’ll consider my options.
That’s great to know! I’ll keep that in mind.
