I purchased some new weapons from the vendor on the main island. When I leave, there are no new weapons in my inventory and I dont see them in the store either. Where do I get my weapons from?

Weapons always show up in the armory. There is normally one outside the vendor. Check for a sort of cupboard on the wall with swords on it. There will also be one of these on the boats. Once you open this, you will be able to change the weapons you have equipped.
