When Will Xbox Finally Enable Voice Chat Recording?

Why is Xbox Series X still lacking the ability to record voice chat? It’s frustrating that we’re in 2023, and Microsoft hasn’t added this feature while Sony has allowed it for ages, even with their 2013 PS4. Recording in-game voice chat has become a huge aspect of gaming content, and not having this option feels like a major setback. I really think this could push some gamers to switch to PlayStation. Can Microsoft please add a voice chat recording option?

Honestly, I think you might be overestimating how many people actually want voice chat recording. It’s not like it’s a huge demand among casual players.

I doubt they’ll ever do it. Their execs have always shied away from any risk of lawsuits. But it’s funny how they allow it on PC, while PlayStation has been fine with it. Looks like the capture card is the only solution for Xbox users.
