Hey everyone! I recently started playing World of Tanks again after a five-year break from console gaming, and I’m loving the challenge. I’ve got a decent stash of blueprints—about 23 to 25 for each nation and 106 universal ones. I’m wondering when it’s best to use them. Any tips?

As others have pointed out, blueprints are great for getting through tanks you don’t enjoy, but they’re also super useful for accelerating the grind towards T9 and T10. If you’re eyeing a specific tank, like the Canopener, you could use all your blueprints on it to unlock quicker and then move down the line, minimizing the XP grind you need!
A lot of players hang onto blueprints until they come across a tank they really dislike. If there’s a tank you can’t stand—like the Churchill series—you might want to use blueprints to skip or speed up that grind. It’s also useful if you’re trying to unlock a particular favorite tank faster!
From an XP perspective, it’s really smart to save your blueprints for T9 or T10 tanks. You’ll get the best bang for your buck in terms of XP. But if there’s a tank, like the AT15, that you just can’t stand, it’s definitely smart to spend blueprints to skip it or speed up that grind.
You get the most XP per blueprint at tier 10. But honestly, tier 9s can be really fun to play, especially compared to tier 8, so I try to make a lot of tier 9 blueprints to avoid tier 8 grind.
