When Should I Respec My Dragonknight?

-

Hey everyone! I’m currently playing my Dragonknight and just hit level 45. I’ve been mainly focusing on story and side quests, with some dungeon runs mixed in. I’m starting to feel like my build is a bit off and I’m curious about when I can or should respec my character. Since this is my first character, I really want to refine it even though I don’t want to delete it for future experimentation. Can anyone clarify when I can redo my skill points or adjust my magicka, health, and stamina?

You can respec anytime you want! Just grab respec scrolls or visit the altars in the capital cities to pay some gold for it. It’s super flexible, so don’t stress too much about timing it perfectly!

NinjaTank3000 -

Plus, you’ll get respec scrolls for both your skills and stats once you reach level 50!

TankyBro -

Using the armory can really change the game for you! I have a damage build and a tank build saved, so I can swap depending on what I need. It’s super convenient!

MagickaWiz4Ever -

Just remember, the game scales your power, so you might notice a dip in strength. Focus on one stat, whether it’s all magicka or all stamina, until you get more comfortable!

BalancedBuilds -

I did that too! I split mine between health and magicka to suit my skills better.

BigBoss_Stamina -

You might want to grind to champion point 160 first. While you do that, check out builds that fit your playstyle. You’ll probably end up respeccing a lot anyway!

BuildOptimist -

As you progress, it’s perfectly fine to respec when you feel stuck or want to refine your build. Just make sure you’re comfortable with the game mechanics first!

CP_800Struggle -

I’m CP 800 and still optimizing my builds, so don’t stress about getting it perfect right away! It’s a continuous process.

ShardsForDays -

Just a heads up, there are respec shrines in every major city. You can use them whenever you want to optimize your build or try something new!

RespecMaster101 -

If you have an open slot and no build saved, you can respec for free at an armory station. Just load the open slot and all your points will be unassigned. Just remember to redo your mundus stone and champion points!

Exactly! You can respec as often as you want without worrying about the cost!
